Root and unlock Your Htc Desire HD and Inspire 4G

How to Root and Unlock HTC Desire HD/Inspire 4G 
This will work On any Android Version

  

To root your Desire HD or Inspire 4G first download
Advanced Ace Hack Kit -13102012.zip   Then Extract it

* Read the effen-manual carefully [effen-manual.html]
* Make sure No antivirus software is enabled * Make sure you uninstall all software related to your phone or other devices* Make sure Battery is above 70% or More
Then follow these Steps

1) Enable USB debugging from Settings-Application-Development-USB debugging
    Set the default USB connection type on your phone to “Charge only”. Do this at Menu- Settings-             
     connect to pc

2)Install drivers from \Advanced Ace Hack Kit\tools\windrivers\HTCDriver3.0.0.007.exe

 3)Connect Desire HD/Inspire 4G to PC
4)Open the folder where you extracted the AAHK files.  
Run the script:Windows 7/Vista — Right-click on hack-ace.cmd and select “Run as Administrator” from the popup menu.
Windows XP — Double-click on hack-ace.cmd. The script will work only if you’re logged in as Administrator.
Windows XP Home — Double-click on hack-ace-xph.cmd. The script will work only if you’re logged in as Administrator.

 5)enter the generated PASS KEY by pressing CAJUN.txt in [effen-manual.html] or you can find it in: \Advanced Ace Hack Kit\tools\txt\CAJUN.txt and press ENTER to start the process

Go to Step 10 if you are not on android 2.3.5

6)Then press 1
the AAHK will check the version of your installed Android to see if is compatible, if is not compatible will automaticaly suggest to downgrade...
 type Y if you want to do it. RRU download will start .Wait until it downloads it
 When download is complete the process will copy required files to your phone SD card and the phone reboots in HBOOT.

7) If everything is fine will prompt you to press [Volume Up] to start the downgrade process.press volume up button

 8)after successful downgrade press [Power] to reboot, the phone will start normally as first time with wizard to configure the basics 

 9)Now again follow step 1- step 3 -step 4 - step 5

 10)Press 1(hack ace) and your phone will be rooted
You will be informed when its complete :D
Congrats you have sucessfully rooted your phone :D

now you can start installing custom Roms.. if you dont know how to do it here a link check it out

    advanced ace hack tool installs clockworkmod recovery so if i want to install 4ext recovery then do i have to remove clockworkmod recovery???

    can you explain me the whole process of rooting by AAHK which u have done?
    i'm new in the rooting..and i have heard that many problems occurs in between the process and after the success of the process..
    this process requires sim card in the phone?

      no its very simple
      just open the software
      and clik 1
      and leave the phone for few mins
      its very simpls

    it stops when i make the (hack-ace)as an administrator, it opens a window and writes

      and when i pressed enter key only

    i done this bt my dhd didnt rooted.. after the the rebbot step when system check for files its says no image or file.
    my software number is 3.13.720.2

    hi please help i'm trying to root my phone with advanced ace hack kit and i just keep getting an error saying radio downgrade failed. i have tried several sd cards and cables etc and have followed the instructions precisley

    i followed the steps to root my HTC desire hd 2.3.5
    i m facing problem after giving y command to download RUU
    after giving y,
    it shows such type of commands

    [Would you like to downgrade? y/n]y
    The syntax of the command is incorrect.
    Parameter format not correct - "PD98IMG-GB2.zip".

    Woah dude[tte] - bogus md5sum! Bad mojo.... no file to flash

    Check it out - renamed the file to PD98IMG/PD98IMG-GB2.zip-bad

    You can re-download the file and keep going....

    I did this thing on my inspire 4g and it failed.now my phone starts and after htc logo the screen goes black...what should i do?
